The world map for the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the bonus items given to those who pre-order the game at GameStop. The map shows a world dotted with islands of various sizes and different terrains: fertile plains, wild forests, dank marshes and large mountains are all visible. There are many settlements peppered throughout the diverse landscape; the largest of them is the huge city of Novigrad, perched at the north of the game’s world.
At the bottom of the large map there are two separate, smaller ones – those of White Orchard and Shellige. At the moment it is not known why they are separated from the main map and zoomed in. The developers claim that a detailed playthrough of the game will take around 200 hours, it remains to be seen whether the world itself will deliver on that promise.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt comes out on May 19 for the PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.
